In Perfect Timing News, John Green released his Crash Course Hamlet yesterday. As we just read it, I figured I'd share the wonderful-ness!
And also... DFTBA. #hamlet #williamshakespeare #johngreen #crashcourse
After Nietzsche, Shakespeare feels like reading Twilight! It's like a brain vacation.
As I continue reading, I had to share Sparky Sweets, PhD's thoughts on the story of Hammy & Friends.

To finish off episode 18, we're going to read Hamlet by William Shakespeare. Skulls n' shit... cool. And I just stumbled across this so, perfect timing and whatnot...Hamlet reimagined with a teenage dirtbag cast.
One of my favorite parts:
LAERTES: Ophelia is dead
LAERTES: she drowned herself
HAMLET: thats metal
i knew she was cool See the whole thing here: http://the-toast.net/2014/02/11/dirtbag-hamlet/ #williamshakespeare #hamlet #fun

Episode four, The Deer-Hunters, has been completed. In this episode, we read some of Shakespeare's most famous works. I really appreciated that this episode afforded me the opportunity to break outside of the plays Shakespeare is most well-known for, and allowed me to get a glimpse into his artistry as a poet through The Sonnets.
Any true Gilmore girl knows that this is not the last we'll see of Shakespeare. "The Bard with the beard" will be back
