Happy Birthday, Proust!
Today would've been the 143rd bday of the author of In Search of Lost Time. Remember when I actually made it through Swann's Way? Yeah... I'm pretty awesome. #marcelproust #insearchoflosttime #swannsway #birthday

...And that's all I have to say about that.

I can do it! I can do it!
This weekend, Husband and I took Lorelai for her first trip to our cabin in upstate New York. Welcome to the world, Nicholas! #scottpatterson #baby #lukedanes

Joyce's Ulysses: The Only Chapter Worth Reading I may feel differently about it once I've finally hit that last page, but right now, I'm about here:Ulysses is an overwrought, overwritten epic of gratingly obvious, self-congratulatory, show-off erudition that, with its overstuffed symbolism and leaden attempts at humor, is bearable only by terminal graduate students

Spending Stephen King's money
On my way into work, I was listening to one of BookRiot's podcasts and came across this story that amused me greatly. Emily Schultz is an author. Emily Schultz wrote a book titled Joyland. Stephen King is an author. Stephen King wrote a book titled Joyland. And that's where things got messy. Emily Schultz started noticing that she was getting negative reviews on her Amazon listing. Apparently people who don't know how to spell Stephen King were purchasing her ebook, thinki
